Kelis klar med nyt album i 2010

Den grammynominerede verdensstjerne, der kendt for hits som blandt andet “Caught out there”, “Bossy”, “Milkshake” og “Trick me” giver allerede nu sine fans mulighed for at lytte til førstesinglen “Acapella” pÃ¥ sin hjemmeside.

Sangen er produceret af aktuelle David Guetta, der udover sit soloalbum, har succes pÃ¥ The Black Eyed Peas’ “I gotta feeling”.

Det kommende, unavngivne album har, udover David Guetta, produktioner af will.i.am, Free School, Boyz Noize, Burnz og DJ Ammo.

Om det nye skift siger Kelis:
“I love that I am now a new part of the Interscope family. 2010 is around the corner and I can’t wait to put out new music and spend time with real music fans on tour again.”

I løbet af sin karriere har Kelis udgivet 5 albums, modtaget en Brit award for Bedste Internationale Breakthrough Act I 2000 samt to grammy nomineringer.

Derudover har hun vist evne til at transformere sit velkendte lydbillede gennem samarbejder med The Neptunes, Andre 3000, Björk og Enrique Iglesias.
